If you could start any kind of business, what would it be?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 30, 2007:
I'm all about starting businesses...monkey, et al...
Actually I have been putting my best foot forward everyday toward realizing my dream of teaching spirituality and creativity through the magic of the mandala and with Reiki. My business, Dragonfly Mandala Studio, was started about 6 years ago by selling mandalas based on people's birthdates and anniversaries mostly to people who worked in and ate at the restaurant that I was waiting tables at. My first one was traded for two homemade key lime pies!!! Slowly I have built it to include a line of zodiac cards and prints, and I still create custom work which includes intuitive astrological readings. Mandalas are created for healing and visualization as well.
My goal for this year is to expand my business to include workshops to teach others to tap into their intuition, spirit, and creativity through the magic of the mandala. I have held a number of small workshops of this nature in my home, however I am reaching out to larger facilities, and looking to hold the workshops on a more regular basis.
Recently I met some people who are working toward creating a new Reiki center here in Eugene. We practice a form of Reiki called Reiki Do Satori---the Reiki of Enlightenment, and the dream is that our center will allow us to bring it to more people than our homes and meeting places can currently hold. We are all working to manifest this dream of a place that supports and heals our community-the universe. I am excited to be a part of the founding of this center.
I believe I am also writing a book (maybe two)...soon.
